Just a short note to express my thanks for all the hard work you put in to make this years Event another huge success.
Unfortunately I couldn’t make it in person, for which I apologise, but the feedback I got and am still getting is one of upwards and onwards. We laid some solid foundations last year and then built on them this year. Congratulations!
Another feature of this years event was that we didn’t have the BBC filming and I guess that meant it became more of a neighbourhood social event.
Many, many people put in loads of effort and I don’t intend to go into detail, as you all know who you are, but it would be remiss of me not to convey our thanks to the Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale, Mr Ian Duckworth and Mrs Christine Duckworth, our local MP, Mr Tony Lloyd,our Ward Councillors, Cecile and Surinder Biant and to Sue Devaney for their attendance and participation at the Event. They have a lot of pressure put on their resources and we really do appreciate them finding the time to join us.
Another Event to be proud of and here’s looking forward to next year. Well done everyone!
